This is Zola.
Pending the outcome of her visit to the vet (hopefully early tomorrow morning), she’s going to be Alex’s new little sister.
He hasn’t met her yet. Well, not officially. I’m sure he’s encountered her outside once or twice. You see, Zola is one of the four cats abandoned by the asshat neighbors across the street. I was convinced none of them would make good pets because I couldn’t get her to come near me. But H, my neighbor next door to the asshats, had somehow coaxed her up on the front porch and it turns out she’s quite the affectionate little lady.
So, hopefully she’ll get a clean bill of health. If she does, we’ll have cats from A:
to Z:

Ah she’s darlin’. I hope she gets a good bill of health. I hope all works out for the other 3. Abandoning cats is a terrible thing and your neighbors are more than asshats they are f-tards too.
OMG, she’s so beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Val, did I ever tell you about the dream I had a couple months before Simon died? I dreamed that he came to me, told me he was going to die soon, and took me around to meet some kittens. He said he didn’t want me to be lonely when he was gone. At the time of course I woke up upset, but have realized over the years that he was really letting me know, in his own way, that he would be gone soon, and he wanted me to give a loving home to another kitty and to love that kitty the way I loved him. Then I ended up with Jasmine……(but also Claudie, Sammybear, Linusrinus, and Oliver)
Anyway, I know you know where I’m going with this….Mickey would be so happy that you’ve found a kitty to love and to keep Alex company, especially a kitty who really needs you! Congratulations on the newest member of your family, I’m sure she’ll be healthy and have a long and happy life with you!
And I totally agree with Andrea about the f-tards!!! There’s nothing worse than cat abandoners, they should be shot and pissed on!
I guess a little bit of Morgan rubbed off on you.
